I have a manual transmission and I have trouble getting into reverse in the cold weather

    there is fluid in the manual trans that needs to be changed. make sure it is serviced with the correct fluid.
    the other idea is the clutch hydraulic system. that has fluid as well. service it and see if it makes a difference before looking for anything more involved.

    Thank you for the information. I can now request these changes at the repair shop. I took my car and had the fluid changed along with an oil change. My car goes into reverse easily. I want to thank you again. When you go in armed with information, you don't feel taken advantaged of as a woman.

    I resolved cold shifting in my Wrangler and F-150 also by switching to BG's manual transmission fluid. It worked better than the Mopar and Ford fluid.
