Very pleased with services. Each time something new was found during repairs, they communicated with me for approval. They went out of their way to locate specific parts I wanted, beyond standard. All work was very well done, and checked. There was no rushed work, or pushed employees, they took the needed time to insure my pickup would be ready to reliably do the work I needed it to do. All parts used were high quality, and their pricing was reasonable for the value I received. They are not a discount shop, nor are they cheap, but they give you all that you pay for.
Tri-City rebuilt the transmission on my 2000 Durango and I thought they did a good job. So the next time I needed some work done on the Durango I took it to them. They called me back two days after I had dropped it off and told me it had a coolant leak and they would need to replace the water pump at a cost of $900+ before they could run the vehicle for a diagnosis. I immediatley told them I would come down to get my vehicle - because the cooling system, including the water pump had been repaired/replaced within the past year. I picked it up and drove straight to the Dodge dealer on McDowell, they checked out the cooliing system and found one of the hose clamps leaking. The trust I once had in them is gone.
Customer service is great, they gave me ride home one time when I had my GMC truck in for service. It had sat for months outside. Tri-City took it down & had it cleaned up. I have been doing business with Tri-City for 35 yrs, they have always treated me with respect. More establishments should operate this way. Customers in turn should respect the business.
The recommendation I received was almost word for word what I heard the advisors telling other customers, leading me to believe that it was just a pitch for me to spend money. When I declined additional work stating I needed to think about the amount and indicating I had been considering trading my vehicle in anyway, the advisor was very condescending and tried to coerce me into getting the additional work as well as telling me no dealership would take my vehicle and that if I brought it to him he'd give me $800 which would be far more than I'd get from a dealer. I did end up trading it in and received full blue book value of several thousand dollars. I was completely up front with the dealer about the transmission work that tri-city said I needed prior to the trade-in.
Service and satisfaction begins the moment you enter the business and are greeted by whomever is at the desk and follows to the indications and or recommendations made to fix or stave off repair. On my last visit, a minor repair was done instead of replacing a large expensive part. That, will keep me coming back and recommending to all I know.
