Would the Transmission from a 1999 Kia Sephia fit into my 2001 Kia Sephia

It's very likely it would work. In my references, the units appear to be physically the same. The wiring diagrams are different, but it may not matter if the connectors are the same. You would do well to compare them side by side on the floor and make sure everything matches. You could call a transmission shop or a Kia specialist, too.
