Question: transmission wont kick down when accellerating

The RPM's go up but the transmission wont down shift and the vehicle is slow to accellerate

MasterCheck the transmission fluid oil level top up if required. Smell the fluid to see if it looks dark or smells "burned" (it should be light red in color). Perhaps you could try dropping the transmission oil pan and servicing the transmission/inspect for debris but the problem may very well be in the transmission itself.
