Vehicle carries a brand new trans., whole valves case was replaced and did not make a change at all. It burned two computers already. Local Kia dealer engineers decide to replace the van to the original owner instead of going through the trouble of taking the extra step in finding the main problem reason, the vehicle runs only in 3rd gear

Sometimes it would be more costly for them and reputation. The quick fix is to replace it and take the back to the factory to diagnose for future reference to repairs.

That's why they want to replace it. By the way the 10yr, 100,000 has to be purchased for bumper to bumper.

The 10 yr 100 k covered first owner thereafter there is no more dealer warranty for 2nd owners and extended warranty was not brought...
