transmission problems on 1996 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup

my 1991 chevy 1500 4 wheel drive is having problems shifting into second and third the fluid looks ok and full could this be a vacume problem

does it shift into second and third?? could be the governor and/or the gear. could be a tps sensor or it could be internal. Roy

the truck shifts hard into second and third at high rpms. where would the governor be located on the vehicle

tranny won't come out of 1 gear can it be anything else i'm missing or do i need to replace the whole transmission
Can a clogged trans. filter cause the transmission to slip??-this truck has 213,000 miles on it- had the origional tranny replaced at about 105,000 miles.
The RPM's go up but the transmission wont down shift and the vehicle is slow to accellerate
I have a 1996 Chev. 1500 with a 5.7 liter engine with 162,000 miles. The speedometer and tachometer having been working erratically. It starts working good and then after a few minutes the needle...
Transmission has no forward pull but goes in reverse without any problems. When shifted into any forward gear, does not engage, no change in engine rpm. What are the possible problems?
