Question: transmission Problem

 Rookie

The problem is with the transmission. The van struggles to change gears while driving. It won't change gears around 40 MPH, thus the RPM is high at that point and the engine is loud. It also the reverse won't function. I can put it in reverse, but there is no power to make it go into reverse.

What would an estimate be for this repair? Thanks.

  It sounds like you have internal transmission issues going on. It is not possible to give you an estimate without knowing exactly what is wrong. I advise that you take your vehicle to a reputable repair facility, dealership or transmission shop for diagnosis.
