While driving to work tonite, my 06 chevy cobalt all of a sudden jerked then it acted like it lost power but you could still hit the gas and it wouldnt go over 10 mph. I thought that I had knocked it in neutral but it wasn't I shut it off and started it right back up and put it in drive it jerked really hard then went. Does anyone know what is wrong with it?

Sounds like a transmission issue and this is best left to a transmission repair shop. Here's some info on the transmission diagnosis: http://repairpal.com/automatic-transmission-diagnosis I suggest looking for an ATRA shop near you: http://bit.ly/ATRA_Info or here are some repair shops: http://repairpal.com/directory?address=63080&car_brand_names=Chevrolet
