1994 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup Q&A
1994 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup Question: transmission problem
Your forward clutch inside your transmission is worn out. So, you need to have your trans taken apart to have the forward clutch repaired. This means taking the trans out of the vehicle. Most tranny's either have the forward or reverse clutch fail. I used to rebuild transmissions at dealerships both Ford and GM. I would take your truck to a good tranny shop. I assume that the fluid is up to the right level when the truck is warmed up and idling in Park on level ground? - dandd
tranny won't come out of 1 gear can it be anything else i'm missing or do i need to replace the whole transmission
Can a clogged trans. filter cause the transmission to slip??-this truck has 213,000 miles on it- had the origional tranny replaced at about 105,000 miles.
The RPM's go up but the transmission wont down shift and the vehicle is slow to accellerate
