when you put it in drive and first hit the gas you feel like it in neutral and wont go till you let off the gas for a second then it will go
hard shifting. feels like it just won't go at take off and then all of a sudden it engages. Then this morning, it did this and started making a really loud noise too.
Sometimes after being stopped I apply the gas and the car just sits there and then slams into gear and moves. It feels like the transmission is slipping.
Erratic . Shifting and speedometer does not exceed 20 mph, even though I am traveling in excess of 20 mph. When symptoms appeared, we had the taken the car to AAmaco to have it checked out. They stated the transmission had to be replaced. The symptoms have occurred twice since the repair. Now the vehicle is going to the dealer
1st and 2nd gears shift hard and the rest shift hard but not as hard as 1st and 2nd. If I'm in town going 25-45mph it sputters like it's stuck between gears just started happening within the past couple days out of nowhere had trans fluid checked and changed when I had my oil changed a day ago nothing changed
Computer telling transmission more pressure is needed resulting in "hard" changing of gears.
transmission slipping have fluid at correct level just started.
my car have a problem went put the trasmition on drive and press the gasoline pedal when make the first change make a noise
Had to have transmission completely rebuild
transmission shifts erratically at takeoff and sometimes in the Thruway
Awd disable light comes on AFTER car starts rolling and vehicle starts in 2nd and will not downshift.
Up shifts hard on every shift after driving for 5 minutes. Down shift same issue.
eratic shifting control solinoid
its goes then the trac goes to one and I cant get the car tp speed and makes a bogging
transmission started not shifting around 2nd to 3rd, engine revs but no engagement, must ease off gas and eventually engages, jerks and pops regularly, had system flushed and it helped a little but is getting worse
When shifting up, it feels like it's on neutral. It finally shifts hard. Constant loud noise. Service Engine Light on. Code does not seem related-it's for a thermostat, per Advanced Auto.
I had no indication whatsoever that it was happening and just start shifting real hard it does it on a regular basis official required to fix this problem no lights whatsoever coming on telling you that you have the same common problem for this issue I haven't got it fixed yes but I wouldn't even know what to say
Have not fixed it had this problem when I got it from the dealer and now it's so bad I've got to rebuild the transmission
Doesn't seem to want to engage in gear, making noises. Not fixed yet n
This issue has been a growing issue over several years.

The transmission while driving feels like it is "missing" as in the way a car feels when the spark plugs are misfiring.

Reverse engages normally.

Today for the first time (172,000 miles) the car will not drive when shifter is set in D or 3rd. However in 1st and 2nd it starts out very slowly and then picks up speed and momentum and shifts out of 2nd into 3rd and 4th even though it remains in 2nd gear shifter position.
