Transmission would not engage. I checked the fluid and nothing showed on stick. I put 4 quarts and on stop leak in the transmission and it worked fine for about a week and then it did not engage again and fluid was not on dip stick. There was no sign of any leak anywhere and no fluid in engine compartment. I have no idea where all the fluid went.
Yep torque converter went on mine w99k
2011 Ford Expedition King Ranch with 22,000 miles was gushing transmission fluid while driving. The entire back of the truck was covered with this fluid. Transmission began slipping and the powertrain light came on. Ford has had my vehicle for 1 week stating they need to replace the transmission pump. But they weren't sure if that was even the problem. Although the vehicle is under warranty, they refuse to provide me with a replacement vehicle until they repaired mine. STAY AWAY FROM FORD.
