WHen accelerating it feels like the transmission is slipping then it feel like a knock of some sort.. then after a stop and trying to accelerate again it vibrates the whole car and then it says on the dashboard "transmission fault" then after it marks transmission fault the next time i take off it takes of really really slow and the after i hit above 30 miles or so it accelerates normally.. What does it mean? Or better yet what do i need to do?

That transmission is known for electrical failures. You should bring it by for a free diagnostic check. At Mr. Transmission we road test and scan the computer for free.
