1991 Dodge Spirit Question: transmission failure

transmission will not shift into high gear. Diagnostic plug in fuse box is not reading.

    1991 Dodge Spirit with a 3.0L engine usually came equipped with a 3 speed Hydraulic Automatic transmission which did not have electronic controls or a Transmission Control Module (TCM). That may be why you cannot get a diagostic read out.
