2006 Ford Taurus Question: transmission cover leak
Go to this web site http://www.parts.com/ and put in 2006 taurus and scoll down and click on engine/transaxle and pick trans pan it sells for $31 I think you can purchase this at your ford dealer for about the same price, Then call around and find a shop that performs auto trans fluid and filter changes ( should run about $100 ) and tell them you will provide a new trans pan because yours is dented as they have to remove your pan to perform the trans service anyway. shouldn't be too expensive this way. - hemicuda
