Engine Start and Stall and/or Transmission Stuck in Second Gear on Chrysler New Yorker

Problem Description and Possible Solution

Vehicles may develop a start and die out condition or a transmission that defaults to second gear. Our technicians tell us that the transmission control module (TCM) may be at fault and require replacement. Our technicians tell us that if the TCM is replaced the pinion factor should be reset and the quick learn procedure performed.

Won,t go to 3rd iwas told the TCM module is bad ,idroved the car in a parking lot & didn,t notice any odd shifting, what should I do Bob,s
won't shift into high gear
Had this problem & repaired but cause a Security System Failure. Must reset BCM
it drives ok for a little while than gets stuck in 2nd gear,changed the module?
