 Rookie

I had the transmission replaced in my truck two years ago. Now it is acting up again. Is this normal?

  Transmission failure is not "normal".

  The questions I would have about the transmission you had installed are:
  1) was it rebuilt in shop, or was it purchased as a pre-assebled rebuilt unit?
  2) Was the transmission Oil To Air cooler replaced at the time of transmission replacement?
  3) Were the cooler lines flushed out and a filter kit installed to keep debris from damaging the replacement transmission?
  4) What does "acting up" mean?
