I bought this car at auction. It would not shift out unless you let off gas pedal after rpm's were at 3. What could be causing this? I've already changed the transmission fluid, oil, and new plugs/wires. Thanks, if you can help.

    There isn't much externally that can cause this on an electronically controlled transmission. If the fluid is the correct type, the condition and level are OK, and the engine is operating normally, then check the codes and hope that you didn't buy a car with a bad transmission!

    HOW MANY QUARTS OF FLUID WILL THE TRANSMISSION HOLD WHEN CHANGING THE FLUID? HOW DO YOU CHECK THE CODES?
