 Rookie

where is the filler plug on the 3.0 automatic transmission. i also have a slippage from first to secon and when i put the shift lever down to 2 it slips out of gear like if it was in neutral. is the trnsmission or something electrical. check egine light is on

    The dipstick for the transmission is a yellow handled dipstick located just under the fuel filter at the back of the engine compartment and is checked with the engine switched off! I've seen transmission problems with these cars. Find a good reputable transmission shop and get them to diagnose the problem.
