what transmission came stock in a 1990 gmc dually 4x4

    3 speed, the turbo 400 was an option.
    overdrive is a 700 R4
    use your vin and call the dealer parts and they will tell you.

    thanks roy your info was helpful. iwent and purchased a 700r for it though already i was told it will work fine. will plugs all work though? meaning electrical plugs.
