1998 Volvo V70 XC Question: transmision indicator is blinking

 Rookie

w/eco mode lamps are blinking at the same time with the arrow indicator in the dash board.
when to start from 0 speed after stop i noticed the car is accelerating very slowly

    When these lights are flashing, this means the transmission control module has detected a fault with the transmission. There are several faults the module can detect, from a bad sensor to a failed transmission.
    The next step is to have a shop check the diagnostic codes and perform the appropriate troubleshooting that accompanies those codes.
