Question: Transmiission Leak

 Rookie

I'm experiencing a pretty steady leak from my transmission. This leak is underneath, at the back of the engine, almost lining-up with back of the front wheel well. when I look under, where it's leaking, I see (I think) at least 2 larger bolts. Maybe I should try tightening those??

    Your leak is probably from the front pump seal on the transmission. It could also be at the transmission oil pan gasket but I'm leaning toward front seal which is where the engine and trans are joined. You probably could get a better idea if you looked under the car with a mirror and flashlight. I don't think you need to tighten those bolts unless they're loose. I don't think they are the leak.
    Take it to a transmission shop or a Lexus specialist for a diagnosis and estimate.
