just repaired my trany by a shop but i installed it i put 12.5 qts of trans fluid and still acts up like slipping into gear when cold and late shifting into 4th wanted to know if i need more fluid?

    The fluid level on the dipstick will tell you when the transmission fluid level is full. The fluid capacity on a 4L60-E is 11 qts and the 4L80-E is 13.5 qts.
