When the car's engine is running, the oil from tranmission tank area, leaks drip by drip with rusty colored oil. When the engine is off, there is NO leak at all. I found out that the trans cooler hoses are bad and both of them needs to be replaced with (8) clamps and 3 or 4 qts of oil to top off.I would like to know how much it might cost to replace the above mentioned hoses with parts and labor.
Two hoses + Clamps + Transfluid (3 Qts) + any shop supplys.
Thanks for your answer. I am not able to do any job by myself due to surgery. The estimated cost to get it done at local shops is requested.

IF, and that is a big IF, you can use generic trans cooler hose the job should be about $60 parts and about 1 hr of labor so estimate about $125-150.

Dear dandd, Thanks for your suggestion and I took my car to one of the local Midas shops. The service was so perfect and the bill was very close to your estimation. Your suggestion came very handy and took me out of guessing game, and I would like to thank you again for that. I thought of giving away this car to some charity if the repair cost is more than $300.00 and hence you saved me a car my friend!
