car not shifting in gear rite away and say trans progam wat tha problem and how do i fix it

    Try adding more trans fluid. You must do this from under the car if you have an automatic. A pump will be required but its probably best to take it in and have them add more for you.If adding the fluid doesn't help then the damage is done and the transmission will need to be repaired or replaced.
