Question: trans and shaft off

 Rookie

so before this problem it would go into gear easy but the clutch i will let it out but not go any were so was it the right thing to do to change the clutch?

    I am not sure what you are asking. If the engine is running the clutch assembly is what locks the drive to the rest of the drive train (power is transmitted from engine through flywheel, through the clutch through the gear box then through the drive shaft to the differential and out to the road wheels.
    If the clutch is "burned out/worn", it will not transmit drive. A burned out clutch is obvious on removal.If the clutch has been replaced and there is still no "drive something from the gearbox back is broken.
