TRANS. O.D. LIGHT FLASHING AND THE VAN SHAFING FROM O.D. TO THIRD SOMETIME'S AND THE SPEEDO SOMETIME NOT WORKING RIGHT AT THE SAME TIME

    You may be in luck - the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) could be faulty. If so, then the shifting and speedometer would be erratic. Have a diagnostic test performed ASAP - don't let it go too long or further issues could develop.

    The O/D light could be on for many other reasons, many major issues internal to the transmission. So, let's just cross our fingers that it's this simple sensor replacement!
