Tranny went out at 117k, previous owner apparently never serviced it. Had a complete rebuild and since then have had three separate occasions going up hill where the unit would seem to get stuck between the current gear and the down shift gear. Let off the gas immediately and it corrects itself and I'd continue on. With each passing incident I've noticed the tranny acting more goofy with other shift actions. I only have 14 mos. / 20k miles on the rebuild, fluid looks clean and no burning odor and nothing ever illuminates on the dash. My tranny shop states there are no codes and it never duplicates when I'm there. I love this van and I don't want to kill it again. Am I crazy or is there something I'm missing?

We have seen transmissions go out in theses Hondas, cleaning the oil cooler lines properly is often something fellows don't do properly. Tyr changing the fluid and using the recommended Honda oil but you probably have an internal transmission problem.
