Just had transmission replaced two weeks ago. Drove it the other day started jerking and smoking and leaking oil where transmission is. Is this related to work done on car or something else? I have one year warranty and will be taking it back, just want to make sure that shop fix problem if related to transmission. Also the over drive light keeps flashing off and on. Never did that before

you need to take your car back to the shop that did the repairs as it does sound related to the repairs you just had done.

You really should take it back the original repair facility. We won't take in jobs that another shop has worked on. If something is discovered who pays for it? After we've seen it will the original shop take it back?

you need to take the car back to the shop that built the transmission, give them the first opportunity to fix it. the od light flashing indicates a problem with the transmission.

I just got off the phone with shop that rebuild my transmission and was told that the gasket blew resulting transmission fluid draining completly. As a result of that the transmission was completely damaged and needs to be replaced (under warranty) does that sould right. WHERE IS THE GASKET ON A TRANSMISSION. IS THIS SOMETHING THAT COULD OF BEEN PREVENTED IF DONE CORRECT IN THE FIRST PLACE. NOW I AM INCONVIENCEND FOR 1 WEEK OR MORE WITHOUT A CAR. PLEASE RESPOND
