Question: traction control malfunction

 Rookie

I get a traction control malfunction warning on the dash information system. This happens when the car is started, and a grrr sound is present. It stops when I disable the traction system using the on-dash button. What could be going on? transmission fluid is correct, serviced the brakes at Sears recently.

    You need to have the Traction control system inspected. Did the problem ever occur before you have the brake work? Maybe they accidentally left something loose?
