2004 Cadillac CTS Q&A
2004 Cadillac CTS Question: TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ON
You need to get the diagnostic codes read out from the computer, then follow the diagnostic test that is associated with those codes. This is best left to a shop that has the tools, equipment and technical info to do this correctly. - TurboSDCharger
if the traction control light is on, it means you have turned it off. I know, sounds wierd, i did it to by mistake. Go to your radio "tuning" knob (the big one that looks like your volume control knob, but on the right). Push it in and go throught the menu. keep pushing the up and down buttons as you scroll through the menu. I cant tell you exactly which menu item it is under, but you will find it. It is the same knob where you set up your equalizer settings for your radio. When finished with one, and so not find what you are looking for, hit clear and go back to pushing the knob until you get to your traction menu. Just hit the button to turn it "on", (meaning you turn off the light) and you will be set. I know it sounds confusing, but as i said, i did the same thing. I will try to locate it and give more specifics later, but try it on your own. - Visitor
