This propellant may degrade over time, especially when exposed to humidity and temperature cycling. As a result, the inflator may rupture on deployment, which can send metal shrapnel through the air bag, striking vehicle occupants. This could result in serious injury or death.
The passenger front knee air bag module may not be securely fastened to the lower instrument panel. This could affect safe deployment and as a result the knee air bag may not properly protect a passenger during an accident.
The power sliding door may not operate properly when commanded, and may also suddenly open unexpectedly even while driving. This would increase risk of injury to vehicle occupants.

The passenger air bag assembly may partially inflate without warning, without being triggered by an accident. This could increase risk of injury.
The rear suspension arms that support proper wheel direction adjustment and rear alignment adjustment may have lock nuts that are not properly secured. This can result in the arms failing and loss of vehicle control, which can lead to a crash.
The accessory add on exhaust tips added prior to vehicle sale may protrude from the bumper area, burning someone walking by or standing behind the vehicle.
The mechanisms that inflate the side curtain air bags may have a crack develop, resulting in one or both portions of the inflator ejecting into the passener compartment. This could cause increased risk of occupant injury.
After installing accessories, the vehicle load carrying capacity may be incorrect on the vehicle certification label. This could result in overloading the vehicle inadvertently, resulting in a crash.
