toyota corolla,1991 has power going to it but won't always start.does this sometimes for no reason...only reason i can think of is the ignition...any answers would be nice,thanks

The best thing to do in this instance, is to check for at least 12.6 volts at the battery. Just because the lights and radio work is still not near enough power to turn over an engine. If there is 12.6 volts, make sure that the power from the Ignition Switch is getting to the starter solenoid. could it also be from the warm weather,the temp is almost always at half mark...sarts after a while going slightly past that.don't know if the coolant is not properly mixed ??...but this has happened at night when it's cool also so...

thought maybe the car veing too warm may be the car saying...hey cooling here,gimmie a few mins to cool,ok?
