I took my taxi cab to this facility when it developed a bad miss when starting out one morning. After two days they had replaced the oxygen sensor, the plugs, the plug wires, the fuel filter and the PCV valve for a total of nearly $600 without ever fixing or finding the problem which another shop discovered and fixed in less than two hours after I had dropped it off.

It turned out to be a faulty fuel injector on the number 3 cylinder.

When I left this facility I only got about a mile or so when it threw off the serpentine belt because they failed to tighten the radiator cap which as it warmed up blew coolant (which is very slick) all over the belt pulleys allowing the belt to slip off.

Further, I had to make a u-turn, on busy Hurstbourne Ln, to retrieve my rubber strip that keeps dirty water that is picked up by the front tires during wet periods from being sent under the hood onto the windshield. It had been removed for access to another part and not replaced properly.

I feel I was, amongst other complaints, charged twice to replace the plugs and wires which were not the problem in the first place. In fact none of the items replaced had any influence on the problem that the vehicle was taken to the shop for.

Total charged, $531 and the engine performed no better than before. I am surprised they did not repaint it, after all the car is ten years old. All they kept saying to my complaints of parts changed that weren't needed was that it had been so many miles since it was last done that they would have failed someday anyway.
