  Came to this shop because it was recommended to me by my friend. Never entered a shop so clean like this one and they are honest. When they check your car you get a full inspection and they let you know everything wrong with your car and tell you what is the most important thing to fix. They help you out, they are not trying to take my money like other mechanics I've been to. I am a satisfied customer and highly recommend this place.

  very clean shop and welcoming. they have coffee and doughnuts while you wait. they also have a shuttle service if you cant find a ride. good service. explain everything wrong with your car instead of just telling you your car doesn't work.

  Just took my hybrid in for service and was pleasantly surprised to see that the shop has move a few doors down to a great new shop (I think it is at 990 Willow now?). Coffee bar, kids play area, and free wifi made my wait time fly by. The service was great, as always, and I actually got some work done while I waited. Highly recommend!

  They have a great costumer service! Every time i get my car fixed i get always it back on time and it looks brand new, they clean it in and out so well! I'm one satisfied customer.

  I have been taking my Jeep Renegade to Tommy's since 2005. I was referred to them from a friend. Their level of customer service is outstanding! They always fix it right the first time and they get it done quickly. I trust them to not rip me off; as a woman that is huge! Their prices are great for the quality of work received. I am constantly referring people there. I know I am safe and in good hands with them. Even though I live in downtown LA I still go to Tommy's for all my car needs.

  I have been taking my Mercedes e320 their ever since a co-worker told me about the shop and they always do an excellent job. They also work on my daughters corolla and my sons old truck. I live in Downey but its always worth the drive to take my vehicle to a mechanic i can trust

  Tommy's is a great place to get your car repairs done. Prices are excellent and has great customer service. Adolfo the owner always makes an extra effort to satify all customers. Will go back to Tommy's anytime and I highly recommend it.

  destroyed my car, took cash, engine blew next day!, wasnt there when i towed it back in STAY AWAY!!!! not the orginial tommy ~ bought it from him, total crook!

  I have a customized Mercedes Benz E300D - a rare diesel that wouldn't start. Tommy's has a diesel mechanic who trained on big trucks, and he bled the air out of the gas line and had it running in no time. They quickly discovered a leaking thermostat and made a competent repair for a very reasonable price: $325 with the $90 part included. They also cleared the codes on the dummy lights that were driving me crazy. Adolfo is a professional manager with previous Mercedes Benz experience. He personally drove me home and picked me up the next morning! "The cars that leave my shop are fixed," he said. "They don't come back on the tow truck again the next day." I will bring my Mercedes back to Tommy's in Long Beach for the great service and reasonable prices. Due to their tight profit margins, they currently only take cash. They will be opening up a second, new location in a month in Long Beach.

  Tommys is a discovery that I need to share with all of Long Beach. Adolfo the owner is willing to go the extra mile to make his customers satisfied. He has a very skilled staff that were instamental in finding a seriuos problem with my 2007 Escalade. Their discovery led to an auto fraud case witch I won. I will use him exclusivley in the future. I am convinced that if he says I need something done my car needs it. Trust is a very hard thing to find when it comes to auto mechanics. I am so glad I found that at Tommys. I leave there each time satisfied that my vehicle is as good as it can be. I highly recomend them for all cars from old to new no matter how exotic or domestic.

  Good work on wifes mercedes E320 wagon and I also have a hybrid honda civic that they just started working on. Hard to find qualified techs to work on hybrids. that dont charge an arm and a leg. They are well trained and professional.

  Your Team Rocks the Casbah!!!! I've been taking my car their for a few years now and I'm always satisfied. There's no BS-ing around and just tells you what the damage is. The owner is a trust worthy mechanic that will give you the best deal in town!!! And now my family and friends take their car to Tommy's too:-)

  I am happy that I finally found a shop that I can truely trust. I am a woman and as you well know mechanics try to charge females more because of their lack of knowledge in the mechanics department. The technician diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately and gave an approximate time that was needed to make the repair. The shop owner gladly handed me the keys of a loaner car. I am very satisfied with Tommy's Auto Service because the owner is an honest person and the quality of the work is incredible!

  I took my truck in for service and got a really good price on what I'm sure the dealer would've nailed me for. The work was done quickly and they even gave me a loaner car while I waited. The staff is courteous and professional and my truck runs so much nicer now. :)

  I was surprised to read the most recent ratings about Tommy's! I have been going to Tommy's since November 2008, and the person I always see is Adolfo. As per 10 out of the 12 ratings, he is honest and gets the job done. He has certainly been a lifesaver for me, my family, and my friends. See for yourself before you write this place off, it is the best shop in Long Beach.
