What is the proper tire to put on the rear of my car? Michelin 245/40ZR17 is on now. What do they cost?

  I just put Continental All Seasons. I I used 235/45/17 on back. Gives a little more side wall in case I run in snow. It also makes the speedo 'dead on'. Although not as track ready, the Continentals make the car more comfortable and useful.
