I just got my Hyundai accent in June. The dealer told me the car had a 75,000 service prior to me finalizing the paper work and driving it off the lot (car was at 72,000 at time of purchase). Recently the tire pressure light came on, I took the car to the service station and was told i needed 2 new rear tires. I find it hard to believe that in about 3 months time i wore out my tires. If a thorough 75,000 service was performed should they have noticed the tires were worn down? Or when checking breaks and tire rotation is inspection of the tire not customary?
