1997 Mazda Millenia Question: timing jumped
Answer #1Bret Bodas from RepairPal Test Shop, February 28, 2009, 09:01Master
You will need to find out why it jumped time and address that first, otherwise you will have the same problem again. This normally means that the timing belt will need to be replaced. If the valves were bent when the belt skipped, then you will need to have the cylinder head removed and repaired.
