Does a Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4.0 V6 have a timing belt or timing chain. Depending on your answer, when should it be changed out

    Your 4.0L engine has a timing chain, regular oil changes chain should be good for 200,000 miles.

    i was told by a mechanic that they dont change timing belts in this vehicle i would have to replace motor
