I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT IS AN AVERAGE COST TO FIX A TIMING CHAIN ON MY 91 JEEP CHEROKEE, 6-CYLINDER

  The labor for replacing your timing chain is approx 3.4 to 4.1 hours and we recommend replacing the gears and chain as a set Napa # NTP 103085 $72 plus a timing cover gasket $26 or a cloyes set $113 Looks like about $500 total

  man this is for sure one tough 6 cylinder i have a 4.0 in line a 92 yr cherokee jeep.279,000 mls no chain problems or brngs or oil pump knock on wood.
