TIMING CHAIN on 2004 Dodge Intrepid

DOES TIMING CHAIN NEED TO BE REPLACED ONCE THE THERMOSTAT , WATER PUMP GO OUT ?

it is reccommended because of the issues they have with the guides. it gets very expensive but worth it. we just did one and it went out at about 1400. Roy

no but if u going to chang the water pump might as well do the timing chain to
