Timing chain on 2003 Lincoln Aviator

I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT IS AN AVERAGE COST TO FIX A TIMING CHAIN ON MY 2003 lincoln aviator

How many miles are on your engine? If it is over 150,000 it may be as cost effective to replace the Long Block, because most complex chain replacements are $2500 and up. You often have to remove the engine anyways just to get access to the components, so you are already 1/2 way there.

Thank you for you response. I have 89,000 miles and was told it would cost around $1600.00. But I will ask about the Long Block. Calling car shop now!
