Question
Where's the best place to get good repairs and affordable prices? I have a hard time believing it costs over $1000 to change out a waterpump and replace a timing belt... please help

MasterYou can find that estimate here https://repairpal.com/estimator?car_type_id=1312 choose Timing belt replace and add the additional water pump part price of $99 to $135 (aftermarket pump) and it comes pretty close to $900 to $1000 and get another estimate here https://repairpal.com/directory?address=94040&car_brand_n...

MasterI need to believe it. The labor is over 7 hours and it does all day to complete. The cost of the timing belt kit which includes a new tensioner and idler pulley plus water pump and all three belts, plus the coolant is at least $1,000 at any reputable shop..
