 Rookie

i have just replaced the timong belt and water pump on my 2004 pt crzr, timing gears were set , and my engine will not idle, and keepr cutting off ..

i am getting a trouble code of P0016 . i have reset the crank shaft and cam shafts , and changed the cam shaft sensor .. i have the new crank shaft sensor but cannot locate it on the engine block ..
and i am still getting the same trouble code. even the dealer merchanic cannot give me the location of the cam shaft sensor ! the engine was running fine , just that the water pump started leaking .

  The code P0016 is a camshaft/crankshaft misalignment code, not a cam sensor code.
  First and foremost, you need to be SURE that your engine is in time with it self, or you will set Crank Shaft and Cam Shaft sensor codes forever.
  So verify that the marks line up PERFECTLY, even ONE tooth off will set codes.
  The Camshaft Position Sensor is on the rear of the Cylinder Head.
