Every 60,000 miles, it is critical on this engine they do break and this engine is an interference fit engine and does serious damage if the belt breaks.

Timing belt replacement on most foreign vehicles including Honda, Acura, Hyundai and Toyota is normally recommended between 80 to 100,00 miles some are sooner but that is the rough time frame.
