Question: Timing Belt & Coolant maintenance

Question

Visitor, 1.8L 4 Cylinder, Sewell, NJ, April 07, 2010, 11:27

The VW Owner's Manual makes no reference (for the 1.9L gas engine) to replacing the Timing Belt or Coolant within the first 105,000 miles. Any recommendations?

It is recommended to replace the Timing Belt every 6 years, usually at 60,000 to 90,000 mile service and the Coolant every 30,000 miles.
