On this 2.4L engine the camshaft sprocket has a mark on the outer tooth face at about a little clockwise from the 12 o'clock position that lines up with a mark on the valve cover. The oil pump has a notch on the gear that lines up with a obvious pointer around 11 o'clock, The crankshaft is set up at TDC #1 cylinder. The set up is important you really should have precise instructions. There is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You get a one year subscription to year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... great quality information same as the professionals have ,much better than generic workshop manuals from parts stores, much cheaper than the factory manual. http://www.alldatadiy.com/
