2004 Hyundai Accent Question: Timing belt
Timing Belts are done by mileage and time. You car is going on 6 years old and since the belt is a rubber/nylon/kevlar compound, they tend to crack after about 6 years or so, so I would be thinking about doing it before a long trip in 2010. The plugs are due at 60k. - dandd

...es on it. Recently had the spark plugs replaced and a coolant flush. I was told I'd need a new timing belt in a few months. (not sure if any of that helps) Any advice is helpful. Thanks!
Can valves be bent if the timing belt isnt broke?
