2004 Hyundai Accent Q&A

2004 Hyundai Accent Question: Timing belt

I have like 57,700 miles on mah accent. About how many miles should I go before changing the timing belt, and spark plugs also? -
Answer 1
Timing Belts are done by mileage and time. You car is going on 6 years old and since the belt is a rubber/nylon/kevlar compound, they tend to crack after about 6 years or so, so I would be thinking about doing it before a long trip in 2010. The plugs are due at 60k. -
