when is it time to change the timing belt?

    It is an interference fit engine serious damage occurs if the belt breaks 90,000 Miles. or 72 Months belt change intervals.

    Acura says every 6 years or 90K. My mechanic told me to wait until 90K even if it has been 6 years since the last time the belt was changed.
