It should be replaced every 60,000 miles. Do it immediately because this is an INTERFERENCE engine, which means valve-to-piston damage will occurs in the case of timing belt failure. Try to avoid hard acceleration while drive it there - maybe better to tow it. Zee - ZeeTech
The Timing belt is recommended every 60,000 miles. At 80,000 miles I would recommend having someone check the front oil seals and water pump while they are in that area. - sharri19
