The Timing belt is recommended every 60,000 miles. At 80,000 miles I would recommend having someone check the front oil seals and water pump while they are in that area.

It should be replaced every 60,000 miles. Do it immediately because this is an INTERFERENCE engine, which means valve-to-piston damage will occurs in the case of timing belt failure. Try to avoid hard acceleration while drive it there - maybe better to tow it. Zee
