my tire make a rumbling noise when on highway. what could this be.

    Don't think tie rod ends - this won't cause a rumbling noise while driving.

    Rather, first take a close look at your tire tread. Check the edges, inside and out. Feel to see if there is any "cupping" - that is high and low spots all over the tire. Any feathering or cupping of the tires will cause rumbling noise.

    Beyond that, the wheel bearings can cause a rumbling noise - have those checked.
